Idea
Young people needed a place to find different opportunities to get involved in. Our old site was already 5 years outdated, and it was time for a new one.
What we did
We built a site where organizations can post opportunities, companies can post jobs, and young people can browse all of it in one place. We also added a Career Guide with an interactive blog section and other nice touches.
Key takeaways
It's hard to fit a lot of features onto one page. Hide anything in a burger menu, and it disappears forever. Put everything on the homepage, and nobody clicks anything. People are simple creatures, and it takes real effort to make everything feel naturally simple.
